About

We are a group of concerned Semiahmoo residents.  Our concerns are centered on the SRA Board’s shift in 2020 from balanced budgets and living within our means to deficit budgets and spending on consulting at the expense of being able to fund current and future maintenance of, and improvements to, our infrastructure and common property.  

Our group organized the effort to petition the Board to change financial and operational direction and return to its core role.

This blog tells the tale, from the perspective of the members, of what happened when the Semiahmoo Resort Association’s (SRA) engaged Joint Partners Consulting and its principals, Mitch Waterman and Jennifer Spidle.

The core members of our group are Buzz Abercrombie, Paul Atchison, Colin Dalzell, April Hashimoto, Jim Hollaway, Peggy Richter, Greg and Donna Wendt, Dave and Pilar Whitmore.  Most have served, or are actively serving, on the board of the SRA, one of its committees, or the board of a neighborhood HOA that is part of the SRA.
